Episode 9… Season Finale: Persistence
As I close this Amazingly Transformative Year… Persistence is the Theme and Episode 9… Was a perfect way to complete a first season.
My guest? The forever beautiful, inspiring and astrology expert… Divine Harmony.

When I began the series last March, I knew that I wanted to include my personal Astrologer, Divine Harmony – I met Divine on Facebook and became a devoted reader of her Weekly Astrology Reports. Divine writes beautifully and has an intricate take on what is occurring astrologically – An InDepth approach! When I contacted Divine to include her on the show – she enthusiastically agreed and we began coordinating the filming. Our schedules were like two ships passing in the night and yet somehow, we connected and synced! Meeting Divine for the first time was so lovely! She is everything and more than I ever imagined as an Astrologer & Goddess! The Topanga Canyon setting was wonderful… outside on her deck, surrounded by trees! Quiet – Serene… Perfect for an intimate conversation… What occurs next? Ah! In the deep woods of Topanga Canyon – an unexpected guest! As our conversation got started, the gardeners in the neighborhood began their work, using leaf blowers. We continued filming, hoping they would be finished soon, however, wishing they would didn’t help… After we completed the shoot, I knew the back ground noise would be a problem and it was!
And… so… in my persistence – I booked another shoot with Divine – Coordinating our busy schedules. Again, we connected and filmed in Topanga… Filmed the whole show… The camera stopped 5 minutes from the end of the shoot! OMG! Really? There is no explaining how I felt about all this! Panic? Confusion? Defeated! At this moment though… Divine and I realized that the timing was off! We would try one more time and settled on a date…
Okay… attempt number 3 – A Charm? Indeed – The Divine timing in all of this, furthered my belief in a Higher Power… Divine served as my Season Finale Guest… Ending the year with her powerful insights on the Dark & Light Feminine and InDepth Astrology. There was so much information to cover, I realized that I could have easily turned this into an hour-long episode. Perhaps, I will include lengthier shows next season when needed!

Episode 7 – On My Own
You know the old saying, “When one door closes, another opens”. How true! With the previous Episode 6, I was given the significant ending and subsequent ‘beginning’ that I had known was inevitable. So, how fitting that Episode 7 featured the topic of Holistic Healing with my guest Holistic Health Coach, Joanne Cohen! I was ‘healing’ a fear of taking on full responsibility of the show and it’s production – not sure that I ‘could’.

Now that I was on my own – free to produce the show the way I had envisioned – the challenge of setting up a YouTube channel and learning to use an editing program, seemed daunting. I was committed, though and pressed through, spending hours with YouTube and the editing program… learning as much as I could and willing to make mistakes 
As you see… Episode 7 became 2 Parts. My channel on YouTube was brand new and I needed to establish myself before it would allow me to upload more than a 15 minute video, giving me the opportunity to really get into the editing program and cut the Episode in ‘half’. Not only did the show air precisely at 7PM (PT), it was also well received and the feedback I received was that Joanne was a wonderfully knowledgable guest and the hope of her to return in Season 2 to share more about Holistic Healing. I personally would like to know more about healing with Crystal & Flower Essences – something Joanne uses in her practice.

On my own, I am growing and thriving at the prospect that I am challenging myself, pushing through my fears and sharing parts of me, that I have long hidden from the world. Hopefully, with what I am doing… Living my passion… others will be inspired to do the same.

Episode 6 … Prelude to Change

With Episode 6, I had the honor and wonderful opportunity to bring to all of you Spiritual Psychologist - Dr. Ray Doktor, and a discussion regarding Women’s Sexuality. Dr. Ray and I had spent several months arranging schedules, so that I could sit down with him and I was thrilled when the time finally came to have a conversation with him on this particular subject.
When I arrived at his office, I found it was more ‘sacred’ of a space… energetically serene and warmly comfortable. As I gazed around the room, I took in the “zen” like atmosphere… noticing the ancient Tibetan singing bowls and artwork, sensing that healings occur within these walls, bringing to mind my time spent working with teachers of ancient traditions.
It was relatively easy to establish where we would sit to film – a large comfortable couch with pillows. The setup complete, we sat down for our conversation.
What a delight to hear Dr. Ray explain some of what keeps women from having a fully satisfying sexual life and the taboos of our culture. Dr. Ray talked about how men and women differ in the way they communicate in relationships, especially with regard to sex. As I have mentioned before, we could have talked for hours and I hope to have Dr. Ray on the show again for Season 2. His depth of knowledge with relationships and the concepts of
“law of attraction” are extensive… I certainly have my pick as to what we could talk about!
The filming went beautifully and upon leaving Dr. Ray’s office, I sensed that something was changing as to the direction the show was headed. I had no idea just how soon it would all become clear!
August 2… The night Episode 6 was to premiere – I again, experienced challenges with the show airing as scheduled… leading to what would be the end of my business relationship with the show’s producer. Realizing the time had come, I took over the “producing” of the show. Scrambling to air the Episode before midnight and dealing with my fears of doubt that I could do this, I turned to my friend for moral support. He reminded me that I had already been doing the work and that perhaps this was all a Blessing in disguise. It turned out he was right! The show aired a couple of hours ‘late’ and I was left both emotionally exhausted and empowered!
From that night forward, I have been producing the show on my own. Learning to edit and facing the challenges with renewed creativity and idea of the possibilities, I was/am excited to move forward and I believe the remainder of season 1 represents this change. Episode 6 with Dr. Ray, spurred me towards presenting material that I was more aligned with, understanding that I could include a more inclusive focus of Body Mind & Spirit…. a natural progression of the past 20 years of my personal growth, coaching practice and Wayshower Blog. Divinely guided and willing to move forward… I “Let Go” of the ‘how’ all will be accomplished and TRUST.
Thank you Dr. Ray… I bet you didn’t know that you would be a catalyst for (my) change… or did you?
